İpek İpekçioğlu

İpek İpekçioğlu, born 1972 in Munich, grew up in Berlin and lives and works as a DJ, curator, producer and author there. Her numerous audiovisual works, compositions and musical publications are created both solo and in collaboration with artists such as Selda Bağcan, Gaye Su Akyol, Petra Nachtmanova and Hakan Vreskala. In 2017 and 2019 she curated the interdisciplinary festival # disPlaced- # rePlaced at Radialsystem Berlin. İpek İpekçioğlu has received numerous awards for her work, including the German Record Critics’ Prize and the 2017 Musicboard Scholarship; In 2018 she received a scholarship from the Vila Sul in Bahia / Brazil.

İpek İpekçioğlu was a resident of the Tarabya Cultural Academy from October 2021 to January 2022.
