On June 8, the Tarabya Cultural Academy celebrated its fifth annual summer festival: current residents, alumni and local artists transformed the German ambassador’s summer residence into a stage for creative work in terms of performance, music and visuals. The festival was opened by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Jürgen Schulz, and Johannes Ebert, Secretary General of the Goethe-Institut. Around 1200 guests attended the program filled with installations, talks, performances and concerts by around 21 current and past residents and their 19 co-production partners from Turkey.
