Whatever the reason for a journey may be, a research, a visit, a recording process, a colonial invasion or a retreat, what remains of the places we pass by? In the framework of the second edition of Senkron video programme, Loading Art Spaces is hosting a video, film, discussion and a music programme titled  The Places We Pass By | Geçtiğimiz Yerler | Cihên Em Derbas Bûn curated by Dicle Beştaş and Didem Yazıcı. Bringing the current artists in residence of Tarabya Cultural Academy to Diyarbakır, the program which includes the city’s cultural points on its map, is focusing on rethinking the ways we relate to the places we pass by. The seven-day program will begin at Loading Art Space with a video and film screenings, talks and discussions, and continue with a film screening in alternative cinemas and performance halls of the city, and will end with a concert by Petra Nachtmanova and Ceyhun Kaya, who explore the development and imagination of folkloric music shaped around the concept of identity in the diaspora. The program is realized in cooperation with Loading and Tarabya Cultural Academy.
