NİCO BLEUTGE
Nico Bleutge, born in 1972 in Munich, has been working as a freelance author since 2001. Most recently he has published the volume of poems nachts leuchten die schiffe (Ships Glow at Night) and the volume of essays Drei Fliegen (Three Flies). In 2012 the opera Wasser (Water), for which he wrote the libretto, premiered at the Munich Biennale. His work has received various awards, including the Erich Fried Prize (2012), the Kranichsteiner Literature Prize (2017) and the residency at the German Academy Rome Villa Massimo (2018/2019).
Nico Bleutge was a resident at Tarabya Cultural Academy from November 2013 to April 2014.
