Svealena Kutschke is a writer and playwright who lives in Berlin. She has published four novels, most recently Thunderbirds. Her play At our feet, the gold, disappeared from the ground, was invited to the 2019 Author Theater Days and premiered at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. Svealena Kutschke was awarded the Schiller Memorial Prize 2019 and the Hebbel Prize 2022. Her play No Shame in Hope was invited to the Heidelberger Stückemark. Kutschke is artist in residency at Tarbaya Cultural Academy in the discipline drama.
