Stefan Goldmann
Stefan Goldmann develops music that is derived from the formal foundations of techno: Grids, samples and loops are concretized to their limits, allowing for novel designs. His works range from electronic tracks to full-length compositions for music theater, ensembles, dance or film. He has released numerous recordings and performs regularly in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia. He has realized site-specific concert formats at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art – LACMA, the Honen-in Temple in Kyoto and the Centro Cultural Kirchner – CCK in Buenos Aires, among others. Since 2020 he has been artistic director of Strom – Festival for Electronic Music at the Philharmonie Berlin.
Stefan Goldmann was a fellow of the Tarabya Cultural Academy from June to September 2023.
