Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç
Dr. Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç is a political scientist, freelance writer and poet. In addition to poetry and academic works, he writes plays, radio plays, prose, essays and columns. His debut in 2022 with the poetry book Prinzenbad, published by Elif Verlag was followed in 2023 by Muslimaniac. Die Karriere eines Feindbildes, published by Verbrecher Verlag, and in 2025 his novel Hundesohn by Suhrkamp. His texts have been translated into various languages, including English, Italian, Czech, French and Kazakh, and have been presented as part of multimedia art exhibitions, most recently at the Museum Europäischer Kulturen (MEK), the Künstlerhaus Bethanien and the Wiener Literaturpassage. In 2024, Keskinkılıç was nominated for the Clemens Brentano Prize in Heidelberg and the poetry prize Dresdner Lyrikpreis. In 2025, he received the Wolfgang Weyrauch encouragement prize and the literature prize of ZDF-aspekte. In 2026, he was awarded the encouragement prize Max Frisch-Förderpreis by the City of Zurich. He lives in Berlin and curates the literary and culinary reading series All You Can Read.
